The shared plugins folder contains plugins installed by Vegas, Sound Forge, and other Sony apps, to be shared among the applications. Are the plugins still there? If so, you may not need to reinstall, because the renaming drill I detailed above may work, and reinstallation may not. Jay, before you decide to reinstall Vegas, will you please look for the Shared Plug-Ins folder in C:\Program Files\Sony. **Well, they are not showing up in the plug-in selector in Vegas.** **are you saying the plugins are missing from the Shared Plugins folder?**
